Workshop on Heat Treatments of Stainless Steels: Registrations Open!

Eure Inox is proud to announce a new workshop dedicated to stainless steels, in collaboration with Prof. Eng. Carlo Mapelli from Politecnico di Milano. Like all events organized in the past, this workshop represents an exclusive opportunity to deepen knowledge on the stainless steels heat treatments, with a specific focus on techniques and risks, including some some hints to intercrystalline corrosion. The world of stainless steels is constantly evolving, and industry professionals are required to stay continuously updated. Thanks to its consolidated experience and collaboration with high-level scientific partners, Eure Inox offers a unique opportunity to engage with these topics.

Workshop Topic

The main topic of the workshop will be: “STAINLESS STEEL HEAT TREATMENTS: TECHNIQUES AND RISKS and some hints to intercrystalline corrosion.” During the lecture, Prof. Eng. Mapelli will guide participants through the key concepts of heat treatments, explaining the main techniques used for stainless steels and their effects on the material properties, while delving into the risks associated with these processes. The workshop is not limited to theory, but represents a practical exchange where theoretical concepts are connected to real industrial applications. In Participants will have the opportunity to explore real cases, professional experiences, and concrete challenges related to the handling and processing of stainless steels.

How to Register for the Workshop

The workshop will be held on two separate dates to accommodate an international audience:

• Wednesday, October 15, 2025 – workshop in Italian

• Wednesday, October 22, 2025 – workshop in English

Both sessions will take place at Eure Inox headquarters in Peschiera Borromeo (MI), at Via L. da Vinci 2/4. Participation is free, but places are limited to 80 participants to ensure an effective learning experience and direct interaction with the speakers. It is recommended to confirm your participation by September 30, 2025, to allow the organization to properly manage logistics and small group visits to the plant.

The program will start at 9:00 a.m. with the training session with Prof. Eng. Carlo Mapelli. After that, there will be a buffet lunch to promote networking and informal discussions. From 3.00 p.m. there will be guided visits in small group of people to the Eure Inox plant.
